LogBook

Printable targets

A LogBook target carries a code in each corner that tells the app the sheet's grid, its unit and the distance it was drawn for. Photograph it with all four in frame and LogBook straightens the photo, sets the scale and finds the aim point for you.

Two things decide whether the numbers are right. Print at 100%, with Scale to fit turned off: a sheet scaled to the paper no longer matches its codes, and nothing on screen tells you. Then measure the ruler bar along the foot, which should be exactly 6.00 in, and enter what it actually measures in Settings, once per printer. And each sheet is cut for one distance, because a grid only equals a whole mil or MOA at one range. Shoot it at another and LogBook flags the mismatch.

All sheets are US Letter, one target to a page. They print correctly on A4 at 100% too: the target is narrower than an A4 sheet. Each distance comes in yards (yd) or metres (m). The app prints these too, along with two and four to a page, from the Range tab.
